12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
Are we really ready to live this out? Do we in actuality live without prejudice of any kind? How about the homeless, the wealthy, the circumferentially challenged, the ‘never use a turn signal’, the inner city black male, the ‘trailer trash teenager’ with a baby on the hip, the slow old man in the aisle in front of you, the ‘global warming’ enthusiast driving an SUV? OUCH! If I haven’t hit your favorite one yet, I can continue! The list is endless. We tend to include everyone who is not like us. That way we can feel good about who we are, but only at the expense of someone else. Oh, and by the way, Jesus loves them just as much as He loves you, so find a way to get over it. Change the way you behave! Get before Jesus, seek forgiveness and a changed heart. But change the way you behave. If the world is to see the Master at work in us, WE have to get out of the way. Jesus has to be seen, and if we are making a difference based on some outward window-dressing, then we are in error. Today is as good a time as any to start the road to repentant living. Willing to join me?
